I regularly do 125 mph on 635 from Preston to Royal-Walnut Hill/635 and vice versa. It is 6 lanes wide plus 2 express lanes. If you get on the Express Lanes at Preston headed east you can really fly. No one is ever one the express lanes. Nice clear stretch from Preston to Greenville. Speed limit is 70mph but you can easy do 110 mph to 120 mph and not worry about hitting anyone. Express Lanes have concrete dividers from the rest of the lanes.

In my FR-S - 137 mph, but, only momentarily. Around my neck of the woods, 31 mph more than the posted speed limit is license losing territory if caught.

You would need a 5 mile down hill straight to hit 157. Unless he has much more power than a stock 86. MUCH more.
I assumed his car is FI .. I doubt stock would get there..

Indeed. It seems to struggle hard over 120.

Be careful driving that fast. Hit an unexpected bump or animal shoots out at you, you're gone from this world immediately.

Dumb!

Speeding at that degree in public roadways is reckless and dumb! It's not about your driving skill alone. It's about the fact that anything goes wrong, including a freaking tiny bump on the road and you are toast! Not to mention the possibility of killing someone else.

Current Sport bike is a K1300s, it's faster than my brz, tho I have had my previous gsxr 750 even faster yet.

Oh, this was back on a Stock rear end, stock header, vortech with wastegated 2.87pulley z rated tires ground control race suspension and ds2500 pads with up rated fluid and some ethanol

I made it to 205mph once... while doing a head down skydive. I'd be scared to go that fast in a car!

145 thru the trioval in my turbo cobalt was sketchy... 135 thru 3 and 4 4 wide was 100% terrifying lol

We had the infield road course open so we didn't have all the oval for high speed. Coming out of the infield onto the apron and up on the bank was tricky.
Was my first time on a banked oval.. So I was afraid going into the bank too fast I would either rise too high or go too low.
My friend took me around in his modified vette at an indicated 165 mph..
The thing stuck like glue going around the track.. I thought I was going to throw up.. The most G forces I ever experienced.
Looking forward to my next time out there..

"single file no passing" during the black friday charity laps turns into MURICAAAAAA after you hit turn 3 on lap one lol. i think i passed 14 people in one lap. I wish i had a video from the infield of me at 5500rpm at 21lbs of boost in that car with a 3" turboback straight pipe haha. I pushed those 235 super sports to the limit lol

Came close to your speed in an Acura RSX Premium at 150 mph, but, ran out of steam and the steering was getting too light for comfort (not to mention if I sneezed, I'd be done). Never have gone that fast again.
