these kits already have a blow off valve
blow off valves dont make that sound, the lack of a blow off valve does it in turbo systems when you get flutter
superchargers only make whoooosh sound when you release the throttle

Just stay on throttle and it will be more than loud enough

I found a decent clip of the sound the JRSC makes. This not my car just some random short.

Everything else on the car is stock except the radiator and oil cooler. I still drive the car 10/10ths like it was stock and it's holding up great so far with no issues. If it blows up I guess I can just build it faster.
If youre ever interested in tracking it I got nothing but good stuff to say about the jackson racing dual radiator oil cooler. I have had it since my car was NA. Even with spirited driving temps are cooler than stock idle.

Does anybody have this problem with noise on the C38 kit?

Currently getting in touch with Jackson Racing about it but they seem to be ruling it as functional. Unfortunately for me it's ear-splittingly loud with the hood open and pretty bad in the cabin as well.

Have tried conditioning the belt and the shop that installed it has also checked the pulley.

I have never heard anything remotely like that. Honestly, I would keep the car off until you can figure it out.

What does your traction fluid look like? It almost sounds like there is an imbalance.

As I was given the green light by the manufacturer itself to drive, it's worked well for the past 5000 or so miles with advertised gains. The noise itself has been the only problem. I was told it would get better over time but it hasn't...

The traction fluid looks fine.

The response I've been given just now is that the whistle is present on most units and is in their opinion "fine". I could send it in for warranty inspection, but if there is no issue I will be charged $350.

Guess I'll die.

Here's another thread on Rotrex noise. It might actually be normal.

If the thing makes solid power and all the right wooshing noises, and doesn't act up or do anything weird at high rpm, then it's probably just the same low rpm resonant harmonic noise the rest of us hear, yours just may be a little louder. It's really hard to tell without two installations side by side. Is there anyone in your area you could meet up with that also has a C38? Might be worth it to ask around for peace of mind.

Just ordered my C-38 JRSC kit. I currently have a Jackson dual radiator oil cooler. I track my car so I know I’ll need a dedicated oil cooler. Has anyone capped off the oil ports of the DROC and just used it as a radiator with the c38 kit? Any issues with doing it that way? I would rather not have to replace the radiator again.

I'd evaluate the performance of the DROC before splurging for something else.

IME, Harrop SC with E85, ACE Radiator Shroud, Verus Hood Vents and DROC I was able to keep coolant temps sub 200F and oil sub 230F in Alabama heat...

Thanks for the feedback. Were you tracking your car? Mine is mainly a track car so it will see a lot of abuse.

Yup, it was 85-90F ambient temps. IAT/ECT/Oil all logged on the video for reference.
