Also some new cars (Honda RA272, '73 911, couple other fantasy cars) and crucially more events and circuit experience for the new track! Having run out of ways to make good money (all circuit experiences and missions done), I'm pretty excited to earn a cool million or two in credits

Unfortunately it isn't the original Speedway, but rather Highway. But that might eventually lead to the original Speedway being added.

I'm curious on the Sophie races.

I just took a look on YouTube.. wasn’t expecting that either. Definitely not my idea of a good time unfortunately. Reminds me of Black Cat County and the mostly disappointing Scotland tracks in AC. With exception of the little Scotland city track I almost never used any of them. It’s not fun at all for me to click off laps on that kind of track.

I've never played AC, so I don't know those tracks. However, I'm keeping an open mind about the Highway 1 track. I'll test it out on my days off.

I did some laps there tonight. My feelings on it are a bit mixed but overall it’s an enjoyable track and good addition to GT7.

On one hand, I miss the classic feel of GVS with all the grandstands and 24h race festival feel. This track feels lonely and desolate in comparison. On the other hand, GT7 doesn’t really have anything like this track. It’s pretty unique as Gran Turismo tracks go. Sierra from GT6 was the other track coming to mind that it reminded me of! Just based on the YT video I watched of it. Long and forgettable. But this isn’t anything like that fortunately.

I think it will feel like a familiar place to you west coasters, especially the twisties on the back half.

I'm a big fan of the new track. HOWEVER, calling it Grand Valley is a big stretch. Huge reach there. Seems like a very odd move on their part. But the tight turns are a ball. Reminds me a lot of some tight windy roads in the NC/TN mtns. I haven't tried the Gr1 race yet, but my gut tells me it's a horrible venue for cars that fast. Personally what I've found is that 911s are perfect for this track. 996/997 specifically (though I'll admit I haven't tried the 991 yet). Lift throttle abruptly in those super tight turns to eliminate any front end wash out, and then use that heavy ass to grip and power out.

Of the new cars I've purchased the Honda F1 and 2.7 RS, though I haven't driven either yet. Citroen looks like a ridiculous stupid vehicle to add to the game, and VGTs are dead to me (so nuff said).

Still extremely peeved that we haven't been given endurance race options (I don't count 1 hour as an endurance race). Hell, even more 1 hour races would be great. Or if they wanted to be super lazy with software development just increase the pay-out scale for custom races (which can be as long as desired). The Human Comedy races were great fun for 1 hour races, but they're one and done! I'm not going to do them again for zero credits. Given how expensive everything is in the game you can really fall behind if you're using the game but not generating credits in the process (which is a trap I fall into often because I have doing time trials around the Nordschleife )

The GR-1 race is a blast. The Super Formula is joy to drive on this track. FT-1, one pit for a new set of RS tires. Only tuning to be made was a power restrictor at about 87% I think, if you want to keep the RS tires.

Didn't enjoy GV H1 as much as the original Speedway. It's not bad, but it doesn't seem like it would be good for GR2 and quicker cars as it's not very wide.

Also, was doing the last Human Comedy race, was in the lead with 5 minutes left, and the stupid AI in 2nd place rammed me, and then immediately pit maneuvered me into the pits. WTF!?

Must be doing it's "learning" by watching online races.

I've had someone in 2nd ram me into the pits on the last lap when I was in the lead on Trial Mountain in an online race before.

Quite possibly the biggest **** move you can ever do in a race.

LOL. Can always filter sportsmanship levels to the same level as you are.

Did that Maggoire mission two more times. Finally got 1st with 31 laps total.

Really wish PSVR2 didn't cost as much as a PS5. If it were like half the price I'd seriously consider it.
