Life's too short, let it go. It's very likely the guy needed the money, or even if he didn't a better deal is a better deal.

I wouldn't get into a bidding war either.

The day before the scheduled pickup, he pm's me and calls off the deal saying someone had offered $141 more than our agreed-on price. He said that he was sorry.

If it's a site where anyone reads the reviews I would note that the seller does not honor prior agreements so that other potential buyers would be aware of the risks in planning a pickup.

Post the other side too. I am curious if it is undercut with that much over penetration.

he's a ****. do what you would do for any **** that cuts you off in traffic. normally, that means honking your horn, or maybe a finger, then moving on with your life, assuming karma will take care of them later on.

of course, when i sold my last truck, people acted all weird when i told them that they were 'x' in line to look at it and others were interested.

I do the same thing, first come first serve. If they offer me a deal I am willing to accept at the time then it's done.

Our water has been out since 6pm. A neighbor, that has been warned before about using things other than hand shovels in the area of the main water line, used his backhoe AGAIN and took out our water main AGAIN.

Well, he is paying for emergency repairs AGAIN.

Some people..

After being warned for doing this before it makes this such an asinine move. So, he's an ass-hoe!
