Movie 'The Racing Scene'
I stumbled across this movie yesterday searching and had never heard about it before. It's a documentary about James Garner's racing team during the 1969 season. He did the 24 at Daytona and Sebring in a pair of T-70 Lolas and then what appears to me as a F5000 type open wheel car in a couple of races. The shots at Daytona and Sebring are pretty impressive if you like old sports racers. Lots of 908's etc. A very young David Hobbs and Sam Posey have a couple of cameos. Last act is a fiery crash that reminded me of how dangerous the cars were then.
If you like old race cars, it's worth the watch.
