Fitment help

I have Eibach sport-line springs coming. And I want to get a new wheel setup soon. I’m looking at Enkei TS-7 or TSR-X in 18x8 +45 or 18x8.5 +45. I will most likely get some 10 mm spacers to get to that +35 that I like. But can I run a tire 225-245/40/18 without problems ? I like the 18 wheels but want a 40 wall bc I like the look better. And these wheels are only in 18s.

225/40-18, 245/35-18. Those have sidewall heights of 225*.4 = 90mm, 245*.35 = 86mm. 245/40-18 is too tall, 245*.4 = 98mm, 25.7" diameter vs. 24.7" stock.

So 225/40-18 can fit. Will 235/40-18 fit or stick with 225?

235/40-18 still a lot taller than stock, I'd stick with 225/40-18

You'll want 2.5" ARP extended studs for 10mm spacer.
You may already know that but didn't mention it in your post.

Thanks, I knew with the spacers I would have to get longer studs, just haven’t looked into the size yet

So I need some clarification on what size wheels can be fitted with standard LCA’s. I was under the belief that anything over 8.5 +38 required adjustable for camber LCA’s.

I'm running 245/40-17 on 17x9 +35, 1.2" lowered on springs, factory LCAs.

No rubbing? No fouling?

None whatsoever.
Stock LCAs no problem in back, up front I'm running camber plates to get ~3 degrees camber. You might want camber bolts at least up front.

Went from previous wheels (18x8.5 +35) to new wheels (18x9.5 +38) with just springs and stock LCA.
Fronts are a close fit. But as far as tires go, I've done 235/40/18 Hankook Ventus V12 evo2, 255/35/18 Firestone Firehawk Indy500, and now on 245/35/18 Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S which is most similar to oem tire diameter. No rub at all.
