I haven't seen much negative information out there for the RLCAs. Unlike the Front LCAs

I am running newish rear arms from SPL so what do I need to look out for ?

Thanks.

Honestly I'm tired of shops being dummies and stripping the hardware. I've been to 4 or 5 now and each time they call me "one of the adjusters is stripped" despite me telling them "these are fragile bolt heads, use a proper socket and don't over tighten". It's annoying to remove and replace the hardware.

I also don't use all the adjustment it offers, last year I moved the coilovers to the "stock" mount location and I've always kept the swaybar link at OEM position.

Also what the rest of the gang said, not that mine suffer (early-mid 2020 batch) it is something to look for on yours (you'll have to copy paste because a filter blocks it)... https:// www (dot) gr*86*(dot) org/threads/potential-safety-issues-from-lightweight-version-spl-rear-lower-control-arm-examine-your-spl-rlca-immediately.10572/

Got it that is definitely a pain in the ass to deal with. I only had one shop work on my car and I bought them the instructions and an Allen key lol. I also wrote down the tq specs for everything. I have trust issues lol.

Looks like I need to continue to do this ha… also SPL got back to me within minutes and my arms look good. Sorry for the slight thread jack

Pulled the car inside to thaw out and got started on doing a full inspection, also pulled out the front suspension. The good news is that, at one point, fluids were in the right parts inside the engine. The bad news is that they have made their way to the exterior of the engine and oil is leaking from all 4 cam sensors, the timing cover, and the driver side valve cover. To the surprise of no one, the coolant leak has not magically fixed itself through neglect and will be addressed. Other fun surprises, passenger fender liner is dead and missing all clips (autox?), and rubbing on the inner wheel well on both sides.

Time to load up the parts cannon for, hopefully, one last time this winter.
On order:
-CSF rad
-Radiator foam sealing pieces
-Passenger fender liner
-Bracket for side markers
-Lots of RTV

Edit: Just ordered all the OEM parts listed above, also have rear endlinks coming with the CSF rad from Subieland.

Status update:
Front crank seal is leaking. New one will be ordered next time I decide to spend money at the dealer :/
Shaftworks on, RLCA on, new acc belt + tensioner, scrubbed engine clean-er, TRD JP short shifter installed, cleaned up gauge panel wiring, fixed gauges reading wonky (pro tip- plug them in properly).
Waiting on- rear endlinks, rad foams, misc OEM bits. An alignment (once endlinks arrive).

Crossed 4 years of ownership this past week. Nothing new to report, the extra pieces I was waiting on are trickling in. Track days are on the calendar and alignment is scheduled. Time to get to work.

Updates for April-
Radiator installed & cooling system bled
Fixed shifter (it had a comical amount of play in 1/2)
Cleaned interior
Removed FF kit
Rear endlinks installed
Fender liner swapped

And most importantly an alignment. -4* front -2* rear, zero toe all around.

Washed the car today and (re)discovered that the hood bra PPF has finally met its maker after 10 years and needs to be removed. Still to fix is the random clunking from passenger rear coilover, and the lower cam sensor seal.
