Question Random Rubber Part

Hello, I was rolling up my window this morning and notice this little guy sticking to the inside window. Does anyone have any clue to what this is? I suspect it has something to do with holding the window up. If so, do I need to put it back into the door? The windows seems to functioning fine though but I am not sure if this little rubber piece is crucial.

Thanks in advance!

I can't help by telling you what it is, but I'm curious myself... I have a rattle that has recently appeared in regards to my drivers side door/window and I'm thinking that could possibly be what I've got loose inside the door.

Could be one of the window guide rubbers which prevent rattling when the windows are partially down. Most of the time they are made of something that looks likes short velour material, but maybe Subaru uses rubber. Someone who has had their door card off can probably verify it.

Almost looks like the little wipers on the inside of the door that holds the window firmly in place when its down, the same piece that leaves the streaks on your window when you roll your windows up or down after you've washed your car. Although in the frs, the piece im describing has almost like a microfiber carpet like fabric stuck on them so the window slides nicely along them. maybe the fabric came off when window rolled down and then as it was coming back up the rubber stuck to the window. I have no idea, just a theory, im not sure how big the piece you have is, maybe stick a penny or something in the picture so size representation next time.

I guess I will just need to pop open my door and see this weekend. It has been icy around Oregon lately, maybe that may be the cause?... We will see folks!

If its that small then its not the piece i was referring too. but maybe something similar that holds the glass still. I had the rubber seal at the top of door frame freeze to the window one morning after rain and then freezing temperatures over night and it suck pretty good so its a good probability it might be similar situation, just with a different piece.
