I feel we need a senior subset to this thread - entitled, for those over 55, what WERE your hobbies.

Don't free dive for the lobsters too much anymore,, getting too old. We still do lizard hunting though. Got this one in back yard. They say it tastes like chicken.

I got the picture.

But, but, how clear is the telescope shot going to be, looking through all that dust -

I would like to check the methodology of the survey you did to come to that conclusion.

I have been recording live music for almost thirty years...I got serious about it with the Grateful Dead...Hypnocracy is a reference to the Grateful Dead and their mythical charactor St. Dilbert whom is credited to say..."What is Hypnocracy if not the search for the meaning of Hypnocracy itself?"

I started in the early 90's...sadly I was very narrow minded and there are better recordings made with better equipment available for the shows I was in the taper section...after Jerry died and the kids came along...taping fell by the wayside for about ten years...

Sharing was very important to me...it was the reason to become a Taper...to have new shows that you could trade cassettes for older good stuff you didn't have...then www.archive.org came along...

Kids grow up...you get more affluent...better recording equipment is procured and the Dead are no longer around...so you range farther and wider...I still loved seeing the Dead related bands that were taper friendly, Bluegrass and after the kids were in high school I re-learned my craft with updated equipment and techniques following around a local band called "Big Something".

My Internet Archive Handle is the same...and you can see what I've recorded of bands that are OK with posting there...300 plus shows...sadly Covid has put a halt to it all
