I know we have all heard it before, but once more?

Article stating 2017 FR-S to get more power and styling.

But how many rumors until this becomes a reality? Now of course the article is only talking about 8 hp increase to the crank (intake manifold redesign and improved engine internals which i can only assume will be translated to the other Twins), but also states improved fuel economy.

And let the eternal battle of NA Balance Enthusiasts and the More Powah!!! wanting gear heads begin!

man that's cool ill probably trade in my 2015 for that extra power but i hear 2018 gets a turbo

edit: i also herd it gets a cvt if so i def want that

In all seriousness though when the 2018 comes out I think I'll probably get the Turbo model, still on the fence though because the convertible looks good too.

Sorry dude! What they are quoting was an blog from Motoring.au which made all the predictions for the 16s. When they didn't happen the other blogs still ran with it and pushed it out to 17.
Doesn't even qualify as rumour and is pure speculative fiction.
