Arrow Air Suspension, No Bags??? Air Cups

Air Cups, Air Cup kits, Coilover Lift Suspension, or bagless air suspension.

- I'm looking for more info, I don't care for your opinions if you don't know what air cups are.

- Please only ask questions about more information on the topic, otherwise if you don't know don't comment

Could anyone provide info on these systems and how their experience has been with them?
Durable in drivable winter conditions?
How do they compare vs. bags?

If you google these systems a few unknown companies come up and then.... http://www.fortune-auto.com/aircuplift.htm

any info is good info...

all that does is lift car for speed bumps and stuff. driving will suffer as it states cause it compresses spring. if you're looking for the aired out look these are not it.

I'm looking to lower my car to fit my wheels properly but the problem is, I'm scraping now if I don't pull out carefully.
-So using this kit will allow me to clear the speed bumps on my street and allow me to get into my driveway

I'd be wary of a suspension manufacturer who says "the coilover springs become compressed which increases the spring rate."

Then these will work. Just with them aired up the ride is crap. So if you just need them for what you said ..have at it.

the entire point to this is that you don't ride air'd up, you go higher when you need to clear something

I have the http://www.umbrellaautodesign.com/ system on my 350Z, and I love them. I don't know anything about the kit the OP posted, but with the Umbrella setup, he replaces your spring with a shorter one from Swift Springs, and uses the spring rate of your choice.

The ride feels exactly the same as your coilovers would normally. Aired all the way up, my car rides amazing, as it actually has room for the suspension to travel and for the Zeal coilovers to do their thing.

Anyway, I've had the setup on my car for over a year now. If you have any specific questions, let me know.

Here's a pic of my 350Z aired out:

Hell, if these are reasonably priced and don't require too much trunk space, it might be worth it. I've held off on coils because of steep parking garage entrances. Seems perfect for my issue.

If I remember right, it's an extra $1200? over the price of the coilovers. Plus they don't work with all cars. The FRS/BRZ kit for the Fortune autos only allow a 1" lift as there isn't enough travel for the 2".

Edit: Extra $2000 over the price of the coilovers.

What would prevent there being more than 1" of available travel?
