Put in a new obd2 pigtail so it’s not another thing flapping between my legs, gave the clutch fluid a flush for all you concourse participants.

Changed the oil today, back to 5w-30 for summer. Car is about to hit 64k, can't believe I haven't even put 3k miles on the car since last year when I got it running.

Adding to this: I gave it a wash, so much pollen, it was time. I need to find a solution for my vents so I can have the red hood back on. Maybe I'll get a heat resistant tarp for when it's parked outside and raining

My friend's cousin's brother-in-law said that Canola is better for the yellow metals. And he's an ice cream man, so you know.

Motul "x-clean" whatever the hell that's supposed to mean. I was using 300v but now that it's my only car, the 300v is just going to be contaminated and is a huge waste.

Eh, "Better" is conditional/subjective in this case. I also don't mind a thicker oil wedge during cold start in the summer, if it's even a tangible difference. Helps me sleep better, also cheaper

Yikes! I made sure to secure all the OEM clips of the cover. After that, I gave it the ol' "well that ain't goin anywhere."

Got it from a former 86 owner who also collected some rare parts.
This particular one might be difficult to obtain, took me years of searching to find it.
You might want to consider finding the Modellista engine cover, which is available in Red and Blue.
