Getting close. We’re planning a TMP day for October. If you wish, shoot me a PM with your cell number and I’ll advise our date. I’m looking forward to bolting up the Yok’s and turning some laps.

Quick update, waiting on rotors still.. Amazon, despite being the seller and saying the front Centrics are in stock, has not shipped them a week and a half later despite 2 calls, 48 hours apart, to be told I'll have them in 48 hours and "technical difficulties" were preventing tracking from updating. Probably because they are lying about having the parts.

Went to check the Toyota dealership nearby. They can have fronts to me for $90 a piece tomorrow. Rears for an amount so high I just mentally marked it as ridiculous. I think it was something like $200 a piece. That's not going to work...

Hmmm, RA or Subaru parts distributor...

Yes.

Do I know someplace that will do it (well)? Not really. Is it still common to do?

Either your sense of humour is just plain nasty or you’re not old enough to remember rotor turning.
Whichever, I like it!

There's not a lot of meat on modern rotors compared to 20 years ago. They're disposable. At least they get recycled...

some of it comes down to efficiency.

to utilize the orielly auto route, you still need to spend time taking them off the car, bringing them to the store, hanging around while they resurface them(or if the person is in a bad mood, to come out to tell you they're too thin, regardless of reality), then bring them back home, and reinstall them. no less than a 3-4 hour ordeal.

$80 for skipping a 2-4 hour run around is well worth the cost, imo.

Also switching to SRF because my damn brake fluid didn't show up either and I realized that I live in a very humid environment so it's probably worth the price.

Ok new question. What do you do when you have stuck tube nut to the point it's rounding off the flats on the soft brake line fitting? Heat? Cut something?

Edit, nevermind. Figured it out. Just needed to make vise grips tighter...
