Clicking noise while idling

I’ve read through a couple of posts but couldn’t find a sound similar to the one I’m having so I figured I’d see what you guys thought. 2013 frs with 102k miles and the only aftermarket piece is an Injen Cold Air Intake. Is this noise a bad thing or something that just comes with owning an frs?

When listening to the video you have to listen for the sporadic clicking real close but I was just wondering.

Hello smking0212 and welcome to out forum -

Maybe the sound is coming from "the lone cricket"?

You might try the old rod up to the ear (stethoscope) method to see if you can isolate where the sound is coming from.

Personally, I wouldn't worry about it -

Thanks a ton, I am wondering if I just didn’t notice the “lone cricket” before because I had the stock air filter set up and after installing the Injen CAI there is a little more space in the engine area that was previously muffled for lack of a better word

I say automatic because it sounds like vacuum pump. If it's an auto, have someone pump the brakes really fast to allow air through the brake booster. I'll guess that the sound changes or goes away until vacuum is achieved and the pump mechanism quits moving air.

Or I could be full of shit.

Vacuum pump failure. Try my suggested test after you get it running again.

And put the video back up. You're depriving others of the opportunity to learn.
