Ohh gotcha. When I installed my LCA's I just put on the aftermarket toe arms right away because it was my understanding they were necessary.

Wait. Double checking. So is it possible to use PBM LCAs and run only 1.5 - 2 degrees of camber WITHOUT toe arms?

yes, I'm still on oem rear toe arms and I'm at about -4.5 camber

But could I reduce camber to 1.5 degrees and not run out of adjustment on the oem toe arms?

I am currently at 2.3 degrees with only coilovers and I plan to reduce it to 1.5.

im not sure what you could reduce it to lol, i want to max mine out so i got no info on reducing, but it should be fine.

Are yo getting any kind of clunking noise from the rears when going over bumps?
I just installed mine and every bump i go over i get the clunking noise. I just went in this morning and torqued everything down but to no avail.

Yeah man I have the same noises. I went crazy re tightening everything, and I was still getting the noise so I called pbm and they said you gotta give the pillow balls time to settle. It defintatly has gotten better over time but anytime I'm on a terribly paved road I get the same noise. It's nothing to worry about.

I know this is an old thread but I maxed out my front ones and there not that low so you have upgrade the front endlinks to go lower ?

I just got my pbm pro coils installed today with their rlca and subframe risers and am very impressed by how comfortable it is. I'm lowered an inch and a half all around. My only complaint is that the right rear coil is making a slight sound but only when I go over very bumpy streets or speed bumps.

zombie thread JUST. WONT. DIE.

I have been on PBM Pro coils for about 8 months now. the swift springs are worth the price jump alone. SO SMOOTH. these guys are local to me about 20 minutes up the freeway and I've had their stuff on my AE86 too (the car in the AE86 section is my old car they used to prototype the stuff) and its AMAZING. I refuse to buy anything else.

just installed the rear lower arms last weekend, I have the same CLANK noise over bumps. thanks for putting my mind at ease. I was going in and re-tightening everything too. good to know its just the solid joints settling.

PBM doesn't use swift springs since a few years ago. Now they make their own SLL springs (Super Linear Lightweight), which are second to none, but I thought I'd point out the brand is not swift no mo

And yes! solid mounts and pillow balls everywhere make for some tapping noises.. but i'm not complaining

I will attest to everything they make. I have 70k miles on my coils and no issues, no leaks, no nothing. They are a bit stiff for me now that I'm not 24 anymore but I'm getting them re-valved at PBM soon so no issues. Not to sound like a fan boy but Dan and Martin make awesome stuff.
