The BRZ and an old beetle. Not a fan of the boxer.

Yes but the 22B had attitude, it looked like the rally car minus war stickers.

One came up on an auction block in Japan a few months back. Went for just over ¥5,800,000, or about $54,000 USD. I will still consider it once they're available for import. I am not a smart man.

Does the 25 year rule apply when importing? The price is only going up... I wish I had invested in an Integrale a few years back.

It does. I fear I'm far more familiar with the JDM models than European ones (and still wouldn't consider myself an expert), but if you know of a particularly rare, desirable, and good condiaiton vehicle which is coming up on 25 years since production, it may not hurt to grab one now and then export it to the states when the price jumps.

You are going to tell me the little red beauty is yours. I usually see a 16v in my area. It's the model before the arches went into super stretch mode.

Correction, you mean Group A. Group B was the Delta S4 reared engined monster.

Did it come with a sound tube and crickets? UEL headers?

No muffler, no doors so no need for a sound tube. The crickets abandoned ship during the take-off roll, no EUL headers but it did have a reduction gear. Flew great all day at 90% of power/rpm.
