Whiteout FR-S: Take over my lease - ~$375/month
I would just try to sell the car, but since it's a lease Toyota won't just sell it to a new person (I'd have to buy the car from Toyota, pay the full sales tax, then sell it to the new person who would in turn have to pay the full sales tax again...).
Toyota allows lease assumptions so you can simply take over my existing lease. You must have very good credit and pay a $200 fee to Toyota. Toyota has told me that the process can take up to 60 days to complete (which seems way too long to me but maybe it does take them that long). Here are the details: 2013 Scion FR-S in Whiteout Manual transmission Regular (non-Bespoke) audio system Trunk mat Unused set of OEM wheel locks Has full Opti-Guard application done Perfect condition Less than 2,500 miles Payment is $375.79/month which includes 7% Florida sales tax. Your payment will vary slightly depending on the sales tax rate in your area. Maturity date of lease is 8/17/2015. 36,000 miles allowed under lease, $0.15 per mile over. Dang, and I thought I had the only whiteout mt in Tampa! I've only seen one other whiteout here so far. And that was in my condo parking lot.
