So, the quality of this product is amazing. The welds are absolutely PERFECT. This is worth every penny of the $300 people. Always happy when I buy a quality, made in the USA, product. And when I get my turbo, I will be extremely happy I bought this catch can. But even now, it dresses up the engine compartment. Can't wait to show it off.

@arucard77 The pictures are informative, thanks.

I'm thinking about how this works... Will you confirm @ANTI_LAG? This is Victor btw.

So the engine releases blow by gasses through two PCV valves. One is behind the center of the intake manifold, and the second is to the right of the intake before the throttle body.

When the valves open it pushes gas out into the D3 catch can where it catches condensed oil and air is pushed out of the box through the filter on top.

So many catch cans are designed to capture blow by gas from one of the two valves. As a result we aren't making the engine as clean as possible unless we get two of those** catch cans?

Holy Massive Images Batman!.. I'm glad I have a huge monitor!!

That said, thanks for the pics and the info, pls post an update after putting some miles on the catch can.. it would be cool to see how much, if any, oil it is catching on a stock motor.

Wish I could tell you. I just installed it on Saturday, wasn't really planning on draining it until I do my oil change. My guess, would be, maybe, and I only say that because I am not currently running a turbo setup. That is when the catch can becomes necessary. Come oil change time, about 5000 more miles, I will revisit this question.

But technically speaking, if running NA, it doesn't hurt to have it! Keep it clean!
