This changes the game completely.
I didn’t know you were on VR. You really want to have an experience. Do a GR1 race at night at Sarthe, the Ring, or Bathurst. I love it in VR and you actually get a sense of depth perception.

omg, I'm hella stupid. I kept doing the Trial Mountain Red Bull race and was getting annoyed that I wasn't getting a stamp for the menu book. It's not even part of the menu. LOL

Also, that's the advantage of being stationary. Your brain (or at least most) process it as if you really are in a vehicle and the world is moving around you, vs your moving not coordinating with physical body queues (inner ear stuff).
That's the thing, I'd like a wheel set up if I ever got VR.

I'm assuming I'd get motion sickness with it. Not entirely sure tho. I do get a headache if I play a game where I gotta control the camera separately from the character (oddly enough, I can play Armored Core just fine).

Holy crap, this was a rough gold to reach. Missed some crucial areas.

I'm actually going through the Red Bull Cup right now as well, just did Interlagos last night. So the timing is coincidental. You have to use the RS and never pit. spcmafia is correct in that the right rear is almost gone by the end of the race, but I think the key (to preventing tire wear) is staying off full throttle in 1st and 2nd gear. I'd even short shift to 3rd fairly often.

All that to say, however, that I haven't beaten the race yet (finished 2nd). If you can clock 1:17s the whole time you should win (FYI I race on Difficult setting).

I got third place. I also race on difficult. Haha. The top two just kept pulling away from everyone. I also had a big gap to 4th.

Yes its very weird. Seems like you get 1-2 laps to pass everyone. And whomever you haven't passed after that point, you won't. I got up to 2nd and then never got more than 5 seconds within first. But the rest of the pack behind me slowly fell back.

Ahhhh, good ole PD AI!

Closest I got was 3.x seconds from 1st. Then we all just kept falling back.

Hopped onto daily race B with only 10 seconds left before a race started. It's Laguna Seca with GT3 cars. As usual, I used the R34 GT500. Started dead last with no practice or anything. Everyone was using the Porsche and the A90/FT1. I just drove like it was a TT and let people battle it out and go off track. I ended up finishing 5th without even doing anything. LOL. B/S and A/S ranked racers. I later did some qualifying laps. Not sure if they're decent times or not. I can't even remember what time I got, I think 1.24.6???

That S section is the bane of my existence. Brake too much and you wipe out, brake little but too early, miss time, brake little but late, miss the next apex. One basically drifts on those turns.

That one weird hairpin turn is what kills me.
