My current PB of 1:21.299 at OTA morning practice on September 12th. The car has more in it, I will be going back maybe October to break into the 20s. Car is still stock power it basically only has a catback and drop in filter.

On Saturday ran a 1:22.58 my current PB
Measured with an AIM Solo 2 DL

Mods:
245/40/r17 RE71Rs on 17" TSW Nürburgring 17x8 wheels
Fortune Auto FA500
TRD Door Stabilizers
Tomei UEL Header
OFT
Greddy Oil Cooler
Camber is -2 F -1.5 R

Full trunk junk (I find if I take it out the car oversteers too much).

I'm pretty happy with the time, most folks I see near that have a lot more mods

I mean not really, it’s n/a. The parts are available to the world not this car specifically.

A very well built car with a quick driver

Not trying to discount skill of the driver, just saying it can be a little misleading and sometimes related to deep pockets. If the car was a lightweight focused build, which it looks like it would like to eventually be, a record doesn't mean much if no one else is competing on the same playing field. It's why autoX has classing based on modifications.

Do you kinda get what I'm saying?

Lmao ok. Tomei EL header, catted front pipe, intake tube and a drop in filter is literally the power mods.

The car has some cool suspension parts but the engine is literally a stock FA20 with bolt ons that are not out of the ordinary. If that’s your definition of built then I’d love to hear what you think of cars with IAG blocks and turbos.

Words and their meanings are hard to come by on the internet I suppose.

When I hear NA, I think mostly a stock car, not your car. I could imagine this 'record' being beaten easily by a sub 2400lbs build, would you still call that an NA record then? Heck why don't we just keep removing stuff until the car weighs 2000lbs. It would still be an NA record I guess.

NA literally means naturally aspirated not "mostly stock car with minimal modifications". I don't really care if some guy strips his car and beats it as long as he keeps the FA20 in it without FI. All I'm trying to do is show people the potential of the chassis with the stock engine and push it as far as it can go.

What have I changed that's so different from a "mostly" stock car you see at TMP? Most people have some form of rear lower control arm, a lot of people have coilovers, a lot of people have headers, people are definitely running more aggressive brake setups than I am, and people that are more serious about tracking have a seat.

Let me change the title to "NA Record with Coilovers, Headers, Intake and 80lbs Stripped Out of the Rear"

Too much mental gymnastics going on here. You did a 1:19:52 in a NA* car, grats. Hope a unlimited time attack NA* twin doesn't come around and beat it.
