Screeching noise from engine

My engine started to screech at idle and when I start moving from a stop light. I have a 2014 AT BRZ 34K miles. I took it to the dealer and they said they could not hear anything...

This is the link to a video of my engine at idle making the noise. Does anyone know a fix for this? I just replaced my serpentine belt and it still makes the noise.

If it's not the belt then it could be one of the pulleys. Take the belt off and try spinning them by hand.

Is your car stock? It sounds more like a heat shield to me. Definitely not belt, but potentially a pulley.

Sounds like a wounded cricket -

Seriously, I suggest you put a homemade stethoscope around the engine parts to see if you can isolate where the sound is coming from.

I just took the belt off and all the pulleys spin except the crank pulley

Open the hood while it's doing this at idle and you might better locate where it's coming from. It's something that's spinning and not lubricated by the sound of it. Possibly a bearing somewhere.
Is it higher pitched or louder when revs are above idle?
This might be one where the only way to know it when the component eventually fails.

I agree that it sounds like something vibrating, rubbing.

Check the header to over pipe connection, and the over pipe to front pipe connection. Also check the heat shield on the over pipe.

it is higher pitched and it mainly happens when AC kicks in but sometimes makes the noise when im not running AC if that helps...

We hear it. Do what @wbradley suggests and notice the specific way the engine rocks a bit more when the AC kicks in. The engine is chugging a little to do that work. Get in there and listen while a helper taps on the throttle. Might need to get underneath to listen but you'll find it.

And be careful around rotating parts. Sleeves, scarfs, masks, hair, hands. I have seen enough gruesome injuries from that shit in my industry to make me paranoid of anything that spins under force
