ICON A5
That's the one i want. Put it on a trailer take it south for the winter. I know a couple of bad decisions by pilots but it still looks good. To bad its at least twice the price i could afford, even with a friend. |

I don't need to worry about boost since I'm NA but all of those other metrics are super useful to have, and the interface works well for me so far. I like that it's extendable though, it's cool that they build it so you can add sensors depending on your build and how you want to use it.

@ScoobsMcGee how'd you secure the ribbon cable?
I went out earlier and it turns out I didn't do a good enough job and it's drooping into the footwell. I had originally ziptied it but fairly loosely to the factory bundle of cables under there. I'm terrible with routing and I know ribbon cables are fragile so I don't know how else to keep it from dangling.

I've crawled over, under, through, around the A5 everytime I see it at Sun N Fun or other airshows. I want one so bad.
It's way overpriced though, particularly for a sport plane. But damn its sexy. I'll just have to settle for flying it in MSFS.

There is one of these sitting on the small private airfield by my work. Just showed up about a month ago. Can't be more than a couplel left in the world so have no idea why it is there. I got to ride in one of these once. Taking off and landing in the water is nuts!
