OEM Spoiler Delete

I'm sure its been done but have any of you done an OEM Spoiler delete? Im pretty much looking to have my spoiler removed and then the holes filled and paint matched.

Just trying to get into the ballpark of this kind of labor price

Swapping trunks would be the easiest and probably the cheapest option.

Heres a thread of someone trying to get their holes filled: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=119700

I'd try looking locally for a trunk swap; place a Craigslist ad and make a post in your local car groups.

The cost of shipping a trunk doesn't make it worth it.

I Actually found a silver one on ebay for $120 with $7 shipping LOL, its a wrecked car and its all pictures of the trunk, gonna shoot the owner a message but idk lol, still kinda turned off to the idea of spending a ton of money to paint my trunk just to mount a wing lol

Lol not bad at all, if legit.

It'd be nice if you found someone local with the same color and all but chances may be slim in your area.

I was in the same dilemma. Went for TRD lip spoiler and SARD style wing with extended brackets. ATL_BRZ uses same combo and says it makes a difference on track.

OK, here ya go.

Just leave the stock one in place (no holes to fill) because it won't be noticed .....

Could also fill the holes yourself and use touch up paint; cheap option, looks okay if done well. You will notice it but only at certain angles. Just another option out there.

Or use vinyl wrap squares, that works well too...

lol @humfrz :P

Also, I was considering Vinyl but since im Ultramarine It would stick out like a sore thumb. Also unsure of how good of a seal that would make and if you would be able to still see holes through the vinyl.

This is the wing im going with, have it sitting right next to me. Thinking about finding a cheap trunk off a wrecked frsbrz then wrapping the trunk and the wing in Carbon fiber. not too sure yet.

You could always temporally plug them with some rubber "plugs" and some sealant

Sounds like your thinking of replacing the trunk eventually anyway, you could even have the plugs painted OEM color

I have 13 FRS with factory spoiler and I would love to get rid of it and just fill the holes with plugs. Function over form. Its the square holes that are more of a challenge. These look interesting:

For round holes these might be good:
