Greddy SP exhuast fitment issue

Hey guys, I just installed the Greddy SP exhaust on my car and noticed some fitment issues... the exhaust tips don't sit evenly in the bumper cut outs. The right side is about .25'' higher than the left and the left sticks out about .5'' more than the right. Is this and issue that Greddy will fix? Does anyone else have this issue with this exhaust or possibly other exhausts? I've hear from time to time people having this issue and am wondering what they did about it.

Thanks!

Mine is even as far as height, but my left tip sticks out a bit more as well. I tried to adjust the hanger, but a no go.

Did you try to play and adjust the rubber exhaust hangers? I had a similar issue but for the most part after I adjusted the hangers it's fairly even now.

yeah, I played with the hangers...I think the hangers need to be cut off and reattached if i want it to be dead on... I contacted greddy, I hope they will do something about it.

I honestly think it's the hangers themselves (not the pieces on the exhaust). Reason being is that I originally had the JDM tips, and the left stuck out about the same distance as my Greddy does.

i'm sure the reason for the exhaust sticking out more on the left is due to the midpipe pushing on the exhaust rearward...whatever the case, the hangers on the passenger side will need to be man handled in some way at the very least to solve the fitment issue.

...I hope to avoid all of that by having corporate giant greddy deal with the issue...::crossing fingers::

Lame, Greddy isn't standing behind their product because I bought a exhaust used.

I have the same issue, the mid-pipe is pushing the left side out a bit. Love the exhaust except for this hick-up in fitment. That and my installation bolts shredded and I had to re-use the stock ones. Anybody have GReddy provide a fix?

Funny that you say the Left tip sticks out more because the ARK exhaust I have does the exact same thing...

I've tried multiple times to try to get this straight, but no matter what it is being levered askew by the mid-pipe. Maybe if I do some further exhaust mods down the road I can correct it.

Yup after realizing it was not the hanger, I gave up and learned to overcome my OCD. At least they are straight (left to right, up and down).

It's just that driver side sticks out MAYBE a 1/4 inch further. I really only noticed it once I installed the lower valance (the contrast against the black valance makes it more noticeable).

Loosen all of the bolts from the pipe first. Then line up the exhaust tip by the hangers and then tighten all the bolts back up when it is aligned. Good luck!

I finally got around to care about more about the issue.

I fixed it.

How?

I dropped a 5 pound hammer a few times on the hanger that was on the low side. It now sits perfect.

go f-yourself greddy service.
