my car is a DD with alot of spirited driving. im looking for a 1.25-1.5 inch drop. im thinking of around 2 degree camber in the front and 1.7 in the rear. will SPC lower control arms give me what im looking for? or will i throw out my rear geometry and better i pay for the bushing install?

i want to do everything right the first time around. THank you!
I have the whiteline camber bushes - took the shop about 2 hours to install. They said it wasn't too hard at all.

I have RCE yellows with Koni Yellow shocks. Would I see any benefit to putting on the Whiteline Roll Center / Bump Steer correction Kit. I'm not sure what bump steer feels like so I'm not sure if I have any.

Question

Installing TRD springs with bilstein B8s. Question, what is the orientation of the tab on the rear top mounting assembly, front or back? In the DIY section there is a comment saying front and then a little later another post saying rear. After that the subject falls off the face of the earth
Even the Dealer wasn't quite sure, not very comforting!
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Yes I go to AZP when I don't DIY, I'd recommend them as well

+1 on this question in general. It seems to be axiomatic that a slight drop is of great benefit. Are there any adverse effects requiring correction?

+ my original unanswered question:

Thoughts @CSG Mike or @Racecomp Engineering or any suspension gurus?

I did something stupid, and hopped a curb. I had my car taken to a shop, and the caster is off, but not by much.

Factory is 5.92 and there is no way to adjust outside of messing with your frame but your driver’s side is 5.14 and your passenger’s side is 5.89.

The car drives straight and doesn’t feel bad, but i'm not sure if i should go to a frame shop and have the strut knuckle looked at, however the car is visually fine.

i'm planning to install coilovers soon, and i'm not 100% if i should replace the strut knuckle.

You mean "caster" ? 6° of camber is à lot.

that's kind of what i was thinking... that's probably right. this is the info that i was sent by the friend that took it to the shop (i'm out of town).

EDIT: yeah, i just chatted with my friend, the shop told him caster, but he send me camber.

I guess you can set it back to spec with Raceseng cascam. You can do it at the same time than coilovers. I don't think OEM setting is that accurate either.

The Whiteline roll center kit is NOT primarily for bumpsteer. It is a roll center adjustment kit that includes tie rod extenders. With just the roll center adjustment part of the kit (the ball joints), you induce some bumpsteer by moving the tie rods out of plane. The tie rod extenders minimize that change.

Anyway, yes there is a small benefit to the WL kit. It is not very dramatic, but it helps.

Will adding the parts below make the car DD more harshly?

Thinking of swapping a few parts out when the rear SPL LCA's go in. Currently on Tein Street Flexes dropped to Tein spec.

SPL Titanium Rear Traction Arms FR-S/BRZ
SPL TITANIUM Rear Toe Arms FR-S/BRZ/WRX
SPL PRO Rear Endlinks FR-S/BRZ/WRX

Thanks!

Bilstein B6 or B8 with RCE Yellows?

Question: B6 or B8? Is the reduced travel of B8 described in other links a problem with RCW yellows? An advantage? Does it matter with such a small drop? Is the valving the same?

In place now - RCE yellows, HVT camber plates, SPC rear LCAs, stock power.
Street (bad pavement at all times) and track use (track tires - track pads, etc)

Great thread - Thanks
