2017 owners: does the front bumper still have the fitment issue after taking it off?

Plain and simple.

I'm just curious if they fixed the problem with the bumper popping out after taking it off.

Mine will be coming off in the future. And I have had the bumper off on my previous 2015 a few times. Though i never had much of an issue getting it back on. My 13 i did but thats becasue some tabs broke when i hit some road kill.

However, when i am installing my oil cooler I will report back.

I'm going to be taking the bumper off of my 2015 come spring to install some new horns. I'm TERRIFIED that it won't fit properly when I put it back on. I'm so OCD, I might have to sell the car if it doesn't fit right afterwards.

Mine has started to sag a bit and it has never been off the car! I'm guessing the combo of a front lip hanging on plus hitting a few cones now and again at autocross hasn't helped matters.

Mine has hit cones and scraped driveways and smashed snow chunks and even bumped up against curbs but it still fits perfectly two years later.

I was somewhat exaggerating about selling the car if it doesn't fit right, but it would seriously annoy me to no end. I wish I could "practice" on someone else's car before taking mine off, lol.

My 2015 has never looked the same after getting a new bumper on from a fender bender. Curious to see what 2017 owners have to say as well.

Front Bumper on MY 17

Ive been searching the last 20 min or so for more info on what exactly the problem was with reattaching the bumper but really didn't find anything. I have a '17 and a Perrin oil cooler in a box so an install is going to happen this month. Anyone have a handy link to some posts that identified the prob?
Thx

Essentially what happens is that after you take the bumper off, it pops out and sags where the bumper and fenders meet.
The issue seems to be that the tabs on the bumper aren't very strong, and once they've been taken out they don't have the strength to remain in the bracket.
This image is about the norm, but the marker light can also pop out.
