Post DIY - Kill Kartboy rattle

Hi, here is the ultimate solution to kill all rattle.

First of all install of SS must be made well, very well.

Hence you need:

- american tape (in Europe we name it this way...maybe you name this as Europe Tape )
- Figurado cigar

After a noisy drive day with rattles...I find this solution and it functions very well.

I believe we call that "electrical tape" over here on this side of the pond, it's understandable that you'd not know that...being from the Middle Ages and all.

Interesting fix.

I tried, but rubber over shifter enlarge too much. So, it fits very well. Maybe a modify on production to create a kind of throat thread where to fix rubber at bottom.
by the way...Kartboy is AAA+++ hardware, IMHO you can't drive without it!

.....Did you just put the roll of duct tape unused on as a spacer between the shift boot and the shifter... I am at a loss for how you got that all the way down but could not do what Tom suggested....

However the American Tape = Duct Tape thing is hilarious.

Tom, if u know about this problem since 2013 , why i buy your product week ago and have the same issue??
and method described in this topic does not help. this rattle comes from a locker...
also the shifter is awesome i like it very much. but i cant drive with such annoying noise, because the worst sound- is about from 5000 rpm till the end, so its like always heard..=(
So pleae guys, or mr TomKartboy- help me to solve this problem! maybe i shold take out this locker (if it possible like in the stock shifter) and put some grease there?
