Thanks for that.

Anyone in particular he should reach out to? I recall our conversation being he needed to replace his shocks as they may be wearing out, so it doesn't sounds like it needs any major work, just a remove/replace.

For something like that, I'd give iGarage a call first (if your buddy is east end/Markham area) as Ivan does great work. He did some stuff on my BRZ (including fixing up my SNAFU when I snapped a crank bolt futzing around with the crank pulley).
He replaced bushings and end links on my winter Fit (which had been starting to get some suspension clicking/clunking). IIRC, he has a STI and (had?) a S2000 as well so he's no stranger to working on fun cars.
As a bonus, they also have alignment facilities in the same building now.

Second this, iGarage is the best. They take care of all my maintenance and mods shenanigans. Oil changes on our car are $60 with OEM filter and Motul 0W20. Much more convenient than DIY.

Noble is great too. They gave my car a nice street/track alignment after I got coilovers installed. They're very knowledgable in setting up your car for track.

Thanks everyone.

Just confirmed with my friend who reached out to Ivan at iGarage and mentioned he had a good e-mail exchange with him and may book an appointment with them.

Out of curiosity, what should one expect for an hourly labour rate with the shops mentioned in this thread? For what it's worth, he is in an area by the name of Sherway Gardens. I've only visit him once so I'm not super familiar with the areas.

Markham shops are in the 90-100/hr range which is industry standard.

As you've mentioned its a suspension install, Ivan at iGarage will be your best bet. I was under the impression that it was an alignment related issue hence my NVAuto/Noble recommendation.

Can anyone recommend a solid shop for alignments in the east end of GTA (east of DVP preferred but would consider Richmond Hill/North York Area). Would prefer not to drive 100km + on a wonky post coilover alignment.

Corner weight capability is a bonus.

I know of Speedstar but I've had a not so pleasant encounter with them in the past.

Hands down, Noble Performance. Wilson is an experienced Time Attacker and will set you up beautifully.

Thank you, will hit them up once I know when I'll be installing my coilovers!

This makes Dave's a literal one stop shop for EVERYTHING you need for track days or just regular maintenance. Prices are pretty decent and all three folks do time attacks so they know the criticality of doing the job right. I personally compete again Alex at OTA and he's fun to drive against (RX8).

FYI Frosty,
Daryl and Alex have left Burning Rubber to form Adrena Garage, also in Oakville on Speers Road. They recently mounted up my new track tires.
