Picked up the new BRZ yesterday. The first upgrade I got for her is a 2-day track lesson package for the moron behind the wheel.

Looking forward to this new hobby (aka money pit).

I'll grab pictures soon. But I had to go through the rear vents. Notched the vents to get the canisters into the trunk.

I’m assuming bumper off to go through there? Mine have dry brake lines in the rear so not sure if that will help.

I don't suppose you are in Alberta are you? lol been trying to find the few that bought one up here so far. I know a WRB Sport-Tech went out recently. As well as 2 more about a month ago, and I think a red and also a white one, base ones I think.

So it's physically possible to have the cubby hole with the manual trans?

And the reason Subaru/Toyota didn't include it was???

No space to put your elbow so you keep hitting the damn cubby open button.

Likely to keep from hitting drinks with your elbow.

I disconnected the fake engine noise or Active Sound Control (ASC). I finally finished breaking in the engine, and could fully hear the engine at high RPMs. I had no problem hearing the engine with the ASC unplugged or off at 4,000 RPMs or higher. The engine noise at lower RPMs was still there, but it was not as noticeable. To me, the ASC made the engine sound enjoyable below 4000 RPMs but got obnoxious and too loud above 4000 RPMs. I would just rather hear the real engine noise at all RPMs.

What did you do to your 2nd gen BRZ today?

I replaced all the lights with LEDs. I actually did this after Christmas because I got the LEDs as gifts. Here are the LEDs I used.

These are for the vanity mirror.

These are for the dome lights, the lights under the doors, and the light in the trunk.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08VS52KCG...roduct_details

You can use the LEDs above for the backup lights as well. They ended up being about twice as bright, but I ordered these to see how well they work.

Edit: The LEDs at the last link listed are even brighter that the smaller LEDs I used for the dome lights by about 1.5 times. They are about 2.5 times brighter than the stock backup lights.

I installed the Vortex generator, and door scuff guards. Plus tinted the tail lights.
