What are all the mods you did aside from the headers to get to 220WHP?

Virtual Dyno:
155-160 whp bone stock right before dyno tuning
217-223 whp after tuning session.
So the tuned jdl uel made 187whp on E85 and you made 217-223whp on that Same dyno or on Virtual Dyno?

would be a better estimate of what you would expect with ace header and E85 which is just over 200hp

or about 39hp over stock car on stock car & tune on 91 petrol, if stock car/tune was on 93 petrol would probably make 5 or 6hp more so about 33hp over a stock car on 93 petrol.

The ace header really stands out when used with petrol as you can get close to the E85 gains. ie your only about 5 hp down on E85 gains on 91 petrol, be interesting to see what they could get with 93 petrol suspect it would be very close to E85 gains.

But if your prepared to run E85 full time you can get very close to the ACE number's on E85 with a less expensive header.

Even the new piper cams in another thread increased power, but it still came in at 7000rpm with a traditional EL header design. 100 whp/liter @ 7000 rpm peak is very efficient, just need to move that powerband!

You just feel that there is a NA secret waiting to be unlocked with these cars!

One could imagine those cams playing nicely with this header + OP combo...

Even just 245ish whp straight up NA..

No tuned JDL on 91 made 164.

Ace on 91 made 169.

Ace on e85 made 187.

Ace on e85 virtual made 220 (baseline was 160).

Not in my case. E85 made a pretty significant difference. 187 vs 169. But diff tuners will have slightly diff results.

Also, they achieved a gain of 46.5 whp on e70 in the link you provided. See post # 2

True , but they added a front pipe into the equation to achieve that :-)

I'm gonna clue you in on something. Watch the dyno video clip, and pay attention to the weather

Did you apply all the corrections for baro pressure and ambient temps? You can make it read falsely high if you dont apply the corrections. Otherwise, virtual dyno seems to be very close to what you'd get on a dynojet if done correctly (within 1% error). Also do you have the graphs with and without smoothing? Wheel slip or a non-level surface will also produce a falsely high number (or falsely low if your chugging uphill). You can tell whether if the graph is falsely high by seeing if the graph has unusual spikes in it (along with the datalog if there are rpm spikes in a middle of a pull). If you see this in the graph you need to throw away that piece of data as it's no good.

I am curious to see more people switching from JDL UEL to the ACE header and see who much more power can be made...
