Hahaha yes, we can and do. This car is pretty good in the snow, especially with a little ebrake pressure

Unfortunately, you right Teseo.... Is the salt that we have on our roads on winter, that corrodes all our cars underfloor... it is some products and shops that apply these products that help to "delay" this corrosion, but if you want to keep your car for years to come, some of us choose to drive a "winter beater" cars on winter. (i.e. I drive an old 2007 Highlander now, counting the days ).

These cars are NOT 1996 Neons that rust out at the thought of salt. No cars made now are like they were. The days of 4 year old cars with rotted out floorboards are long gone.

Went to some job sites, used apple carplay to get the nav (works like a charm)
Ran over a bigass pothole and scraped the underside of the front bumper on a curb when i went to park it...

My car is taking some abuse but its still going.

Did not crash.

And us Canadians winter drive this thing no problem. We dont even bother washing the car until the snow is gone. Even if it melts a little just a quick rinse is enough cuz the thing gets dirty immediately from road splash.

I'm sure not everyone feels this way, but I enjoy the change of seasons and bringing the car out every spring keeps it exciting. The winter is a total switcharoo of hobbies.

Besides, you HOT weather would send anyone indoors!

Mine get's washed every couple of days even if it looks just as bad by the time I get home! A season pass for unlimited washes is cheap.

I feel sorry for those guys that live in places where it is always hot and humid. They never get to experience how these engines come alive at temperatures just below freezing and 20% humidity. Better than most mods you could ever do!

Installed the Whiteline diff trany and subrame inserts that I had sitting in my room for the last six months. Technically I did the and subframe inserts yesterday and the trany insert today. I was really intimidated by the idea of lowering my subframe but it actually wasn't too bad. I did all of this on jack stands so it was pretty tight under there, I'm very sore now but it was worth it! More NVH than I was hoping for but it isn't anything unbearable. Its easier to shift and take off from a stop smoothly so in that regard it's more comfortable than stock. Plus I kind of enjoy the gear whine. I haven't had a chance to really push it yet but the car feels more solid when going around corners. Can't wait for my next autocross!

Side-note: I also did the OFT stage 1 tune the day before yesterday. Not a huge difference but definitely noticeable. Feels like the car should have came that way stock.

New wheels and tires. Went with a 16" set for a more comfortable ride. Now it's time to see how much of impact they make.

Just going from 17" runflats to non-runflats made a pretty big difference on my BMW. So I'm optimistic about this change.

Man I was close to getting a set of 16"s like that! Super light setup, that should be a lot of fun.

Ordered new pads, swapped to spare OEM set in the meantime..
And installed Summer setup.

I drove my FRS up to see my income tax lady today.

She says I owe the IRS MORE money!

DANG! I paid the IRS a ton of money during the 60 years I was working. Now, they give me some of it back through SS. NOW, they want to tax me MORE on the money they gave me back, that I gave them in the first place.

Took it by the local dragstrip after work. Good way to blow off a bit of steam.

Government never give "free" things, they manage to get it back.
