I gave it all. Bounced it off the rev limiter a few times making pulls. I was able to take one good turn as hard as I could with all the speed I could muster and that really was on a whole different level of handling I've never experienced. So stable. I didn't even feel my weight shift in the car. That point made me really say "this really is a GREAT handling car."

I really would need to go f/I immediately for it to be "enough".... if it was good and fast out of the gate I wouldn't think twice. Take my money.

For the money it costs vs the money I make right now... I think I'm going to go a bit cheaper and save myself the trouble. Another year or two in the fwd tuner scene is where I'm going to stay for now I think.

I'll be watching the deprecation like a hawk. If these come down a considerable amount by next season, then who knows. More money saved up... more on the used market... after market prices come down a bit.... we'll see. Just not the right time for me.

Sounds more like you want to live a quarter mile at a time. Wrong car for that, but if you want to enjoy the curves, do so.

I just finished a more than three hour cruise (on WI milk truck roads) and it was a total blast. Much better than being on my bike, never would have gone that fast on the bike. Roads were in decent shape (no worse than rumples) and no Harleys. A real good thunderstorm should wash what sand there is off the roads and Lord help us then. Granted it's not like running the road coarse at BIR or RA, but it's very enjoyable.

Will finalize my notes and let anyone that's interested know when I plan to make the run again. Definitely have to go again, soon.

I'm not too interested in 1/4 mile times but I really just felt sluggish. It'd be very frustrating until I got it running faster which very well might need to wait until next season.

Like I said I loved the car.... until I got back into my car and hit the gas (I was late and drove accordingly). The rsx throttle response I have at this point is just so snappy. It felt extremely sluggish in the brz by comparison. I know the obvious factor is modded vs un modded. Idk. For the price of what it is I just need to wait. Unfortunately my car is on a pretty steep decline and I need to get into something else before it's not marketable at all anymore.

Low mileage rsx=less than half the loan and I already have all the mods I'd need To get to where I'm at now. Just makes sense for me right now.

Not sure that's the correct word to use here, but another run is in the works. An added plus to yesterday was running into a demo ride or drive. No, that's not me. If anyone has video equip to run with or allow me to borrow for my run. It would be fun to share the road with everyone.

So if you were at Bonneville, where do you think your top end would be?

Hey there... south metro here.... I've love mine now that it's a mover and groover.... if you go on MAP and see the turbo build..that's mine. 2013 WRB.. has a SRT exhaust, Eibach springs and swaybars.. with the smallest turbo and light tune (11psi) we pulled 307whp. It is a blast... still handles like a champ and was very stable at 140mph... had to brake ..corner and all.

Im not on the FT86 Forum much, mostly on MNSubaru. I have a HKS Supercharger sitting in my basement waiting for RS Motors to put it in. Live in the Brooklyn Park area near 252, if any of you have seen me.

For as many as we seem to have in the area, I havent actually seen many.

Ive seen a white FRS a white BRZ and a blue BRZ. Thats about it. O.o

Didnt get the loan option I was hoping for on the RSX I found. Asking was a good deal higher than the "market value" (thanks nada). So Im back on the pursuit of a BRZ.
