I doubt it's the tune. Blaming a FNG on a JRSC is like blaming the CARB tune; this isn't rocket science, and it's not uncharted territory.

Got a log?

In the mean time, try this; when you pull up to red light, quickly put it in neutral and release the clutch pedal before you stop. The flywheel will keep spinning and less likely to stall.

Looking for advice. Just finished my install. When I first started it up it sounds like squealing on the driver side. Sounds like it is a bearing or belt issue. However I don't know if it is even an issue. Thoughts?

Please check your Rotrex oil line connections. In the video it appears you may have hooked them up backwards, which would be catastrophic for the supercharger unit.

Also, email us at tech@jacksonracing.com.

Thanks for the response. I located the reservoir on the passenger side (not my picture), but still 1.125" above Rotrex reservoir clamp. So I did have to route my hoses differently, but matches the diagram.

To me, the sound does not seem to be coming from the Rotrex.

How's the install guys? I just got my kit in yesterday and I plan on doing it over the weekend.

How long did it take you and what was the hardest part?

Just installed mine last weekend. I would plan on about 10 hours or so depending on your expertise. Nothing really too hard, a few instructions could be clearer.

Getting the bumper off is, literally, the hardest part.

Read the manual cover to cover a few times, before opening your other boxes.

Will do. Just waiting on the last two packages and then taking the car to the shop to get the clutch installed then it's game time.

Thanks for your help dude. I'll be reaching out for the duel radiator/oil cooler soon probably

I am by no means a expert with installing SCs or anything. I love to do the work myself so I can learn in case something goes wrong down the road

The install was pretty straight forward. As was mentioned before though be super careful about priming the rotrex before you start the car. I followed the instructions and primed it until the traction fluid started coming out of the SC inlet then closed it up. But I have been told my SC is louder than normal and is probably related to poor priming.

So if I did it again I would probably keep priming it until there was a pretty healthy flow out of the inlet as you have extra fluid and want to make sure you get all of the air out. Not sure if someone who has done more kits has any other suggestions for better priming.

This is the best resource I found for removing the bumper and headlight.
