Re-led the stock clock to red LEDs and extend the wires for the rear defroster and MAYBE do an amp kill switch (need 2 ft of remote wire) and WE DONE!

Do the 10 series clocks appear red as well? Kind of odd that the JDM ones are red colored and the US ones are orange colored.

I believe they are red; after taking the stock clock apart, I noticed that the FRS clock chip board has 2 blank LED areas that I'm sure the GT86 clock has those extra 2 LEDs for something; I will take pictures of both when Adam and I mod this part.

Oh I should also note that the GT86 clock was from a RHD 86; that could also be the problem...for now, the GT86 clock is in...just the airbag light is on, on the dash.

When Mr. 5CARFAC3 isn't making Doge memes of everybody's car, he's doing incredible things. This is awesome.
So impress. Many thanks. Wow.

was just about to update this thread haha

So, my good friend @BadLuck has come back and has finally helped me with the few FINAL things regarding my dual climate!

We finally hooked up the rear defroster!!! So now my AC, Inner Circulation and Rear Defroster all work with the three farthest rocker switches on the bottom switch pannel.

Heres a pic for proof

As some of you may have read, I had an Issue with the passenger airbag light coming on when I had the OEM GT86 clock installed. After looking through the forums, I found a thread on how to change the LEDs on the stock clock...so we did just that. We used my stock FRS clock unit and replaced all 8 Amber LEDs to red LEDs. No more passenger airbag light!

Heres some pictures:

Crazy to think that months ago I started this project and with help from quite a few 86 members that have become friends, this project is all done. Really grateful for this 86 community and it was all teamwork that got this project to be completed

whats next???

I still have two rocker switches that are not being used yet; I am going to make one into an amp kill switch to turn my amp that powers my subs on/off

The other...hmm..
Ideas of a push start have popped into my head...but THATS a whole 'nother thread lol

any ideas?
