Hopefully the GUI is improved. I HATED the Subaru GUI (in 2017) with a passion. Push and wait, push and wait

Hers is fine. No idea what that thing would be like though.
The only issue she had with her prior Subaru HUs was the almost monthly recalls and dealer required updates. Seemed like it was perpetually out of date and not working right because of it.

They could solve alot of their UI drawbacks with faster processing power and more responsive touch screens.....which i suppose up until now they have been using whatever silicon they got for cheap that was useable.

Car's are trending towards multiple software updates to fix things and i bet eventually they'll be at video game developer status where anything new that is released is buggy as shit and requires a gigantic "day one" patch to fix stuff, and a million other patches to fix stuff that is broken.

I guess its better than "how the fuck do i upgrade my 2017 BMW X1 navigation software...does it cost 300 dollars at the dealership to upgrade my map?"

Oh great, just what the world needs, buggy Day One cars that glitch through walls or randomly turn into dancing tanks for no reason.

But sir its not my fault!
my car's buggy self driving software + nav directed my car through that wall....
I thought it would glitch right through it, not smash and destroy the wall and my car.....

Had an MY17. Loved it. Don't trust Subaru engines. Five years was my limit . Always planned to trade it for the second year of gen2. When they skipped a year it meant I sold out and now am waiting for an MY23. Money doesn't matter. I would be happy with either. I don't think there is any difference. You get the one that gets you excited.
