I think there’s also a wire you can buy to connect the car GPS to a headunit. I tried buying one but I got the wrong one, so can’t report.
(I ended up buying the Joying 11.6”, but GPS adapter should be similar.) |

Anybody have a subwoofer connected to this?
I got the OEM Kicker sub, and what settings do I use in the subwoofer settings? Like the high and low frequencies? |

I have a super small/cheap sub in mine. There is an RCA harness that comes with the HU. There is a hi pass / low pass and level adjustment but I can’t really hear a difference even when adjusting from one extreme to the other. I think it’s a placebo. |

I saw several reports of CarPlay call quality improving on iOS 15.1. Not specifically on the Teyes but on OEM headunits on a few different car companies. Today on the way home from work I did a test call to my wife on my CC3 and she said it was night and day. No more echo and she said I was loud and clear. Her voice was also more clear.
I suspected all along that the call quality issue wasn’t specific to the CC3 because you see people complaining about it on HUs from several manufacturers. So I’m super excited to no longer need to kill the CarPlay app and fall back to standard BT if I need to make a call. |

Not gonna lie - I kind of regret getting the Joying unit over this. Huge screen (11.6”) is overkill. And call quality had been one of my main hesitancies about the Teyes.
