I can assure you it will sound more deep and throaty. It's a great exhaust if I didn't have the header I would definitely throw up a clip for you. It kinda hangs a little lower than stock and I worry about it sometimes but I think I will try and raise it up a little bit somehow.

Thanks I ended up ordering it Monday night either way. I just hope it sounds as good as the unresonated v1 without being so loud. I never considered ordering an unresonated exhaust before until I heard this one.

I might have to post videos when I get it since no one has yet.

I have the resonated V1, along with all my other exhaust components listed in my sig. If you wanna hear some clips of everything, go to my link in my sig and my first post in my build thread, there are some videos of the exhaust.

I have lol I wanted to hear the resonated catback alone though since I'm not planning on adding any front/over pipe or headers.

Just put mine on last night. I was aided by the great instructions on how to safely jack up the car and use the the pinch welds for jack stand points (thanks forum!!). The removal and install went easily and without a hitch. I did need to play with the V-clamp a bit to make sure that it was aligned and therefore sealed properly. Also, I think I may have to loosen/retorque the spring bolts a bit to leave a bit more play after reading the forums for advice. (I almost/pretty nearly bottomed out the springs, and it would make me happier to adjust it with 15lb of torque.)

The sound is awesome, unresonated, just enough rumble and sound! Thank you fellow Iowans for making this system! I am only regretting that I didn't have enough time in the past year and half or so to install it after getting it so long ago!

My advice: CRC's dry spray lube, channel locks, and a door panel removal tool made taking off and installing the hangers on the hanger rubber donuts EASY!
