One Veteran to another, just wanted to say thanks for your service.

Looks like this thread has been around a few years lol...

U.S. Marine Corps
Corporal
Active duty 1993 - 1997

1371 Combat Engineer
0933 Marksmanship Coach

Was an engineer for roughly 2.5 years, then decided to switch jobs to something more interesting... and whats not interesting bout shooting things! Became a Marksmanship Coach and finished out my enlistment.

During my time I went to Tokyo, Okinawa, Philippines, South Korea and Honduras. Back in the states I was stationed in Jacksonville NC, but deployed to AZ, TX, NM and CA.

Not that long. Only since last October. I noticed that there were a pile of military people in the age and profession thread so figured we should have a place of our own. These cars must suit the military mentality since there are a shit load of us. I know there are many more that have never cemented here.

Not a "lowly" anything. In fact if memory serves me right the majority here are about the same. I think there is a smattering of senior NCOs and only two or three officers (off the top of my head there is the good Major and myself). I figured this is due to the fact that the car is targeted at the younger guys so it is natural that the old guys would be limited.

Besides we are all the same here anyway.
