In a few weeks I want to put together a lil get together/cruise. More of a half day type thing. I was even thinking a meet up then a scenic cruise and grab lunch type thing. Thoughts?

What type of coilovers do you have? do they have pre load helper springs? or when your car is in the air does the spring flop around?
This is a little misleading in regard to aftermarket suspension. It is true for stock suspension but coilovers and really aftermarket suspension in general, the train of thought and diag differs. I assume your shop doesn't work with aftermarket suspension often? An alignment can in fact also cause noise although not likely in this persons situation. The loose springs in coilovers are completely normal and if your suspension droop is that fast or you are air born that long then you have other issues (bad strut/shock/rebound valving/wanna be general lee stunt driver). Urethane dampened or heim joint components (control arms, end links, sway bars, tie rods) are just prone to NVH period and functionally they are working perfectly fine. Helper springs on some coilovers are really only there for NVH reasons and serve little to no other purpose. Some claim they are there for keeping continuous contact to the ground but again thats just marketing gibberish at the end of the day. That's more of a droop issue as previously mentioned.

Please don't take this as an attack as it is not . I just don't want people who get aftermarket suspension hearing their first click or pop and now feel that their car is falling apart when really it's just a reality of this particular modification in many cases (not all).

The OP needs to have the car aligned though without a doubt unless they have a vendetta against their tires and overall driving experience.

Since these normally happen on weekend days, I would need enough notice to request time off for work (3 weeks ish). If I got the day off, Sign me up. If not, well then I will be sitting at work living vicariously through you all via the forum.

@Cross let me know what you find out from BRIDE (5204494756)

Do you think it'd be possible to get the stock rails off the stock seat and put those 'BRIDEs' on them? You've had the stock seats out more than I have..

Head up the 87 to Prescott. Have lunch there & then cruise down white spar & through Yarnell to Wickenburg & end in the West Valley. That'd be half a Saturday.

On phone I am. Therefore, if mistakes I make, Frank Oz blame you should.

It was just the sway bar end links that were a little loose in my case.

Ok I called a local supplier and apparently copies have become so hard to tell that it can be a pain in the ass. However since I told them these are older and they have a lever they asked me to take pictures and look for specific tags on the bottom.

As for the seat rails I believe you can drill out the rivets and they come off. I know the Recarro's I use bolt on but I believe ours are riveted on.

I like this route. Great scenery and enjoyable cruise. What does everyone's calanders look like?

EDIT:: If this route doesn't work, is there a route between here and Tucson? Maybe we can all meet in the middle and hang for that

I'd love to go, but I'm already RSVP'd to another event (not car related) going on that afternoon. Sounds like fun though!
