Really? You can't figure out how the rubber weather stripping goes back on the car?

What's the point of mocking his post? He's just trying to get some help...

Anyways, I checked out my door seals at lunch. Don't have a camera (my phone is ancient) but I assume your talking about the seal that runs along the door itself...

It seems to be glued on from my quick inspection. I pulled back a part of it to try and see if it was anchored into a seam that ran along the entire seal (like the one at the top of the window). No seam as far as I could tell. Seems to be cheap OEM glue holding it onto the frame. I say this because a few spots are visibly detached, I assume from wear & tear. I pulled a little bit on one of these spots and it didn't take much at all to detach more of it from the door. Looked like they threw glue along the seal and slapped it to the door. The end of the seal that is at the top of the door seems to be anchored though... Hard to tell by just looking at it though, looks can be deceiving.

Have you looked in the audio section? Many people have taken apart the door panel and I'm sure someone has come across this before

Thanks for the reply! I know how to press them back onto the frame (they arent glued, they just press on) but I need to know the orientation of how they go on. Since you dont have a camera, maybe you could tell me where the ends of the strip meet? The rubber strip is one big long piece, it is not circular/connected at the ends. So where do the ends of it butt together on yours? That would help in putting mine back on.

It should be one big piece however I think there is a weak point that breaks quite easily. Mine tore on the drivers side door at the base of the window towards the back of the car.

Should be pretty easy to figure out the orientation after a couple tries at most....

The problem is that it will fit in just about any orientation. For it to actually be waterproof, however, I need to get it into the correct orientation. I have put it on 6 or 7 times and each time I say "hmm... that doesnt seem right". I really just need pictures.

Sorry not that piece... I need to see the piece that goes all the way around the door frame (down the foot area, up by the windshield, over the front window and down behind it to the foot area). The piece that stays attached to the car when the door is open
