Again, completely irrelevant.

Bought car new in November of 2015, currently have 49,xxx on the odometer. First issue that cropped up was broken wheel studs. Mind you, pretty sure this was due to tech incompetence. Currently I'm chasing a horrible squealing noise that is coming from my blower motor I believe.

Don't think broken wheel stud is tech incompetence. I've broken about 6 of them. From what I read around here the stock ones are hot garbage and people say to replace them with ARP ones.

I just replaced the broken ones with Dorman branded ones.

Mechanically, my 2016 FR-S is fine. I just changed the oil yesterday at 80,000 km.

Some things that I need to look after are the front bumper and battery.

My front bumper has taken a serious beating from road debris and will most likely need to be repainted. My battery probably won't last another winter as it already died twice this winter and the engine will struggle to turn over below 0C.

Other than that, no other major issues.

2013 here (bought in 2012). No issues to report. We'll see if that changes after this recall, which I'd rather not do.

2013 FR-S, 63,357 - Just traded it in this week. Had P0018 engine code and was out of warranty. Was quoted 4500 to fix it, my car is only worth $9000. Forget it !

They wanted that much based on a cam shaft sensor CEL?

17 86. I just past the one year marker of ownership today. 23,000km and nothing mechanical to mention.

The driverside window trim popped out of place over the winter which caused glass misalignment. A simple enough fix, but brought to the dealer to handle it in case it gets worse in the future.

I also noticed dried water marks inside the taillight which was surprising to the dealer. They sent photos to Toyota and I've heard nothing yet.

Yeah, they traced it down to needing a new camshaft and sprocket plus ECU.
