I have just finished playing Borderlands 1 (again) and have started Borderlands 2 (again). I have played the first 3 Borderlands for hundreds of hours. I still think they are fun games that don't take themselves too seriously. Having said that the 4th Borderlands holds no interest for me as I think it will be just more of the same.
Why didn't you tell me! I would have joined you. Also who is your main for each game?

Wise decision to avoid Borderlands 3.

I was enjoying it in the beginning, but the fight mechanics, particularly the bow, are awful which completely ruined it for me. I've pretty much stopped doing side quests and just going to finish the main story line.

That's unusual for me, I'm usually a completest.

I love Borderlands. I've played 1 and 2 a couple of times solo, and still play it online occasionally with my 3 sons. That was why I was trying to reload it. I guess I'll buy it at some point when it's on sale.

(thinking out loud)

Has anyone used the 49" Asus monitor (1080p)? I'm looking for the cheapest wide screen for sim racing. I've only used VR and a little hesitant to move onto a monitor, hence looking for the lowest cost option to get my pecker wet.

The new Samsung G9 is ideal, but that's a lot of cheddar for something I might not like (racing on screen).

it's funny now after tcoat literally just did the same thing to you while simply asking for factual evidence of your claims...

Good to see you still don't know shit, your clap back came like a week late, were you researching flashing 5700s? That's actually what I recommend to most people now. I've had the xt from day one, so flashing was an unknown at that point in time. Combine that with the combo discount of purchasing the 3000 series and 5700 concurrently and it becomes a wash. Also, the $50 premium is miniscule when you consider the xt is binned a bit better and will sustain 2100+ MHz on good cooling.

I've already stated water is more of a hobby in and of itself and more for aesthetics/acoustics, any performance gains even on flagship hardware is minuscule. Like what do you not comprehend?

I got the Asus at Microcenter for $800. After using the monitor for a week, I prefer VR for iRacing over the monitor. Keeping for sims like ACC or Dirt that don't have great VR support. I'm glad I didn't go for the more expensive Samsung G9 (coming out soon).
