I’ve worked with Lachute Performance, they basically provided a full turn key solution under one roof, and designed the solution to meet my specific goals and needs, including rebuild of my engine with forged internals to their AK engine specifications, full balancing, install and tuning. I brought my car in, they loaned me a car, about 2 wks later my car was ready.

Well I've had my 86 for 4 years(Mar 7th 2015) and haven't upgraded because the only logical upgrade IMHO is a Cayman or 4C( something small, RWD and light(sub 3000 lbs) with a turbo 4). My car has been boosted for 2 years out of the 4 and I love it even more than before. It's like a front engine Cayman 2.0T now and I refuse to part ways with it.

Not upgrading. In fact I back with another twin used this time and will be adding a roots SC with flex fuel. 275whp and a nice flat torque curve right around 225 wtq should be huge fun in a 2700lb car.

Upgraded from owning 2 twins, don't regret.

My 2013 BRZ was totaled a few months and I upgraded to a 2018 M2. I wanted a CPO 981 Cayman S but couldn't find one to my spec/price. Also thought about the Supra but needed a car asap and didn't want to pay mark up over MSRP and wait a year. Ultimately went with a new M2 since the 2018's were heavily discounted (10k off MSRP).
Do I regret my decision? No. But there's a lot of things I miss in the BRZ. How light it was, the steering and seating position. I miss the "racecar" feel to it and how I can rev it out and not even break the speed limit. I think I really need a small, lightweight, RWD car again in the future. 3400lbs M2 does feel porky regardless of how powerful it is. |

Interior the GTI/Golf R are on a whole different level in terms of fit and finish and overall quality. Subaru has improved over the years but has a ways to go. More road noise with the WRX. The WRX feels much more raw and a little more fun to drive with some basic mods. The Golf R is a much better daily driver but the steering feel is lacking. The WRX will be cheaper and likely have better resale. You really need to drive both. |

I upgraded again. Sold the Camaro SS 1LE and bought a Camaro ZL1 1LE. 650hp isn't enough either. ugh.
I do owe 50% or more of 4 BRZ/FRS now though.
