Lightbulb Brz ls or 2jz

Hi everyone
I am planning to swap a 2015 brz but I am not really sure of which swap should I do. Do u have swap ideas ? I think about a ls3 or a 2jz. What do you think about these engines ?
Thank you

I thought about the fuel consumption of a ls3 and I think the fuel tank is too small. The fuel consumption will be 19l/100km so I will only have 300km autonomy.

Ls3 absolutely. Unless you HAVE to go with a Toyota motor the Ls swap is already well documented and reliable.

Thank you for ur reply
I just think the 50l tank is a bit small for a big engine like this. Do you think it is possible to upgrade it and add something like 10 or 20 liters?

If its between those two motors, a 2jz should get even less mpg.

When doing an engine swap like this fuel consumption is generally not a main concern. Is there a specific reason you're swapping?

Fuel tank sizing will be the least of your worries with the swap honestly. lol

19L/100km????

2011 Camaro gets 14.7 city and 9.8 hwy.
FYI, the Supra 3.0L 2JZ gets worse economy.
Even 2018 STI gets worse hwy economy than LS3.

I got 27mpg highway (8.7L/100km) with 6.0 LS2 in my FD RX-7 w/ 0.5:1 6th gear and 3:55 diff. With the 6.8 LS3 in it now and 0.64:1 6th gear I get 24mpg highway (9.8L/100km).
In town it does suck though, more like 14mpg (16.8 L/100km).

No reason a 2JZ should get better fuel mileage, an LS3 Corvette gets slightly better city and significantly better highway mileage vs. a 2JZ Supra...
