Tow hooks

So I ordered a pair of tow hooks today, and I was looking at DIY guides. Simple enough, But my question is... What stops somebody from just stealing the tow hook? They sell for 100+. Or am I missing something.

I plan on tracking it after tire/coil upgrades.

I keep them on when off the track, I have had cars hit while parked on the side of the road way too often.

Although the hook does not stop it, it makes me feel better when I know it's punched through the idiots bar who hasn't left me a note.

I agree with you. I do a little bit of tracking, learning the ropes day by day. The coils are just what I have planned in the future. But going back to the original post. I just dont want to take the hooks out after I install them.

red Locktight - see link below. Doubt it's really the answer. Needs heat to remove - be carefull with it!

Just take them off when you're not at the track or on the side of the road in a ditch.
