Video - Ebraking and Burnouts

This was performed on a closed course. Please do not do this on the streets.

I am in NO way an expert, just thought I would post some video.

After the AutoX at local motors we took some time to just play around with the ebrakes and thought we would test the limits of the car. Had fun.

Please forgive the moving frames, youtube said it detected movement and could stabilize it.....so they thought they would do it by moving the entire frame... annoying.

Genesis 2.0T burnout

That little bit of extra horse power finally shows lol. All that cash and all I can do is burn out longer in a straight line hahaha

Tires almost had no wear on them. These cars are so lite.. I don't think I was leaving skid marks.

I was playing around some too at this event and like Yruyur said, I'm pretty sure none of the FRS's left skid marks. The genesis, I don't know about, but we didn't leave any marks. That being said, I did have tire chunks get thrown into the windows the first time from the front tires pushing a bit, and at times, i was tempted to remove my front STB to see if it would get rid of the understeer chatter. I wish I'd had my camera on after the autoX when we were just screwing around so I could add to this hooniganism, but I left it packed up already.

That's the reason I've been doing track days the last 2 weekends and doing another one this upcoming weekend. Ideally I'd like to destroy these tires before the winter comes and I throw my winters on my stock rims, but they doesn't seem like it'll happen...

:P that was me, and I had fun... Besides, I paid less for my 2013 Genesis than I did for my FR-S (that I returned and got my $$ back on, it was a dud).

Both cars are fun, though a broken one is not. No problems with the Genesis yet.

My best time through the course was 31.5, my most fun one (drifting every corner) was 32.8 . (Wish I had a video of that run)

Yeah mine is the red one you definitely have more power then mine and I have a little more power than a stock fr-s my best time was a 35.6 and a 40.6 I forgot to turn the traction control off on the 40.6 and spun to far on the last corner for the 35.6 I had alot of fun out there definitely looking forward to doing it again!

Nah!! They're Great!! Break traction easy and the chirping and squealing plays with the ears while your get'n sideways. Once they're 'gone', then I can get me the brand/model/size I want...

Genesis 2.0T burnout

Keep powering through and let go of that ebrake. Ebrake is fun, but donuts are better.
