I'm 5'6 and I've been riding with my seat jacked up all the way too in the first week I've owned the BRZ. Mainly for the visibility over the hood. After watching the Porche video posted I think I'm going to make those adjustments and just get comfortable with it lower.

I'm 6'3 and I have the seat as low as it goes, and as far back as it goes, and that works perfectly for me
I also refer to it as a 3 seater as a result - nobody sits behind me, haha. |

I'm 5'10" and my seat is as low as it goes. The back of the front seat is almost touching the rear seats. My legs feel perfect but the steering wheel is still a tad too far away from me, even with the column pulled all the way out.
I'm installing a WB hub and Personal steering wheel today and from my measurements, that will put the wheel just over an inch closer to my chest. Should be perfect after that.

I'm 5'7" and have it as low as possible. Too close and my thighs start hurting from pivoting between break and gas. Too far and the steering wheel is too far away. If I'm not getting any thigh support when braking am I too close or too low? My leg touches the dead petal softly.

As for the seating position, I'm 5'8" and have the seat as low as it'll go. I have it close enough that I have a good bend in my leg with my right foot at on the firewall under the brake pedal and the back adjusted so I can easily rest my wrists on the top of the wheel with my shoulder blades still against the seat back.

depends on the mood... spirited driving ill have the seats lowered almost all the way but closer to the steering wheel. normal driving i have them pushed back and pushed up vertically about half way.

5'7" here - seat all the way down, then I push it back far enough such that I have a slight bend in my knee when I push the clutch in all the way to the firewall. Incline I adjust so that I can touch all of the controls with my finger tips.
This seems to work best for me. |
