PRE Stepped diameter 4 to 1 double slip collector Header

A PRE Stepped diameter 4 to 1 double slip collector Header

[/LIST]
Stock baseline Dyno was 173WHP.

For Those who were interested.

We picked up a little power top end with the tune alone which is typical but you can see that with the equal length header it opens up the power band not only up top but lower in the rev range as well. OE intake, muffler, resonator.

Temperature was about 57F in the dyno room, 29.66inHg, 90-100% humidity.

Car is stock besides the new Header and Tune

Tq dip is still there. Power under the curve is not that great imho.
Not bashing the header but it looks like HKS/nameless/jdl are better option.

It looks like 5k on it pretty well equals those but it doesn't do as well in the mid range....

It's not a long tube header or 4-2-1

It's slip fit. Not welded one piece. Held together with slipped fittings and the springs are just extra security

I suppose it works similar to a flex-joint by allowing some movement in the header? But what are the chances of gas leaks?

Really just reassurance. I have made lots of parts with double slip fits and when they are even warm its just about impossible to pull them apart.
