Guidance on 6-point harness install

I have a full cage being installed. I am adding fixed bucket race seats with mounting brackets that include sliders. I have RaceQuip 6-point harnesses to install. The ends of the lap and crotch belts have the mounting plates with a hole. no clips.
Looking for some guidance on how anyone has dealt with the mounting, locations, and hardware used.

Some seat mounts have a built in submarine belt attachment location otherwise you just have to drill into the floor sheet metal.
If mounting to the floor sheet metal a backing plate with nut should be used (this applies for the sub belts and inside lap belt). For the outside lap belt location use the factory seatbelt mounting hole to secure the belt as it’s already properly reinforced from the factory.

You want the belts to rotate freely once secured, Schroth makes the proper hardware for this and the other items I mentioned. Honestly I prefer snap in type belts and using eye bolts to keep things moving freely but you’ve already purchased the belts so you can make it work just using regular bolts and special hardware.

Note: follow the belt manufacturers recommended submarine belt mounting angle based on your seat location.

I mounted lap belts to the factory hole on one side and through the transmission tunnel on the other with a backing plate. Swivel hardware lets the belts move. Sub belts mounted to the seat bracket. I’m using PCI mounts which have holes designed to mount the sub belts too. Shoulders to a four point roll bar.

It’s a test of patience for sure.
