Yes the piping is quite small and the wires seem to touch the runners. That is what I was trying to get away from. That and it also seems that the o2 bung for the collectors are set at the bottom which may be an issue.

This was my hopeful solution to that, or just running extended wires.

Will do. I have an email out to them waiting on a reply with a price list of the parts they are planning on offering.

The other thing we have to be cautious about is oil pan depth. CX racing likes to use their own oil pan where as the Vorshlag kit can use the GTO pan. Not sure if the mounts place the engine at different heights. But I saw that Element is having a little issue with their dry sump pan.

Just here to help make a more cost effective / less time consuming setup. What Vorshlag doesn't seem to realize is that this is a "Cheap platform" The average consumer in this market isn't going to want to spend 1300 for a few mounts that cost nothing in materials. I understand their time is worth money but in the 86 world, the average owner isn't going to want to spend that.

I have no problem spending that for their work. It's just the unknown of when you are actually going to get the product, and the difficultly of getting a hold of them that is making me sway my purchase other places. The fact it's cheaper is even better.

I was ultimately after a winter project, which obviously never happened. If I could get a solid time line from Vorshlag (That is soon), I still might order from them. Working price list out, trying to weight the options in my head.

Got word back from Element while writing this. Still not sure which to go with at this point. He is double Checking his timeline on transmission availability.

Our meaning of "soon" and vorshlags meaning of "soon" are drastically different.

They slot two of the holes on the mount.

Instead of just looking at the Summit Racing Cart I have had for months now (as I do just about everyday at work, tab stays open), I just went ahead and pulled the trigger. Hopefully it is all correct.

ARP Harmonic Balancer Bolt - ARP-234-2503
Powerbond Harmonic Balancer - PBB-PB1117SS
Water Pump - ADO-251-728
CTS-V Accessory Kit - NAL-19155066
DEI Plug Wire Covers - DEI-010475
Tilton Clutch Master Cylinder - TIL-75-750U - *Originally ordered incorrect one, need this updated part number*
Cooling Hose drain for Steam vent input - SME-2201-11
Pilot Bearing* - ADO-CT1078 and ADO-CT1082
Extra Idler Pulley for power steering pump delete - CEL-49021
Serpentine belt for power steering pump delete - DAC-5060560

*I bought two. Where the input shaft is in relation to the Bell Housing determines which Pilot Bearing you need from what I have seen. So I bought both just in case. I will let you all know which I use or is needed as soon as I get the transmission*

Edit: Looking through a lot of the pictures, Vorshlag is using The ADO-ct1078 Roller Pilot Bearing.

Updated previous post with Part numbers and links.

Looking at Pictures, seems we need the ADO-CT1078 bearing.

I also believe Vorshlag is using This Slave/TOB. Would just need lines made up, or buy direct from vorshlag when they have them available.

Edit: For those of you who are more adventurous, Seems you can get the slave/TOB from Tick Performance for about $140 and a remove bleed line for $50. You would then just need to make/have made your own line from master to slave. Wouldn't be too expensive and can decide if you want a quick release or not. Since I already have ordered/paid for a Vorshlag one, I am just going to have it switched to the BMW one and have a line made from master to quick release.

seems to be a standard slave and pilot bearing for the LS1 Clutches.

If anyone needs, I am a dealer for pretty much ANY LS related as I have quite the extensive build on my Corvette. I can help out with clutch kits, cam, arp bolts, anything you need.
